SISTAH'S MAKING A CHANGE

Mondays and Thursdays

All classes are canceled until January 2011. Call (504) 569-9070 for more information.

Get fit with the "sistahs" as you exercise and dance your way to wellness. Classes are taught by professional dancer and choreographer Giselle Nakhid and occasional special guest dancers. The program is directed by Jamilah Peters-Muhammad, a registered nurse and professional dancer, who handles all other aspects of programming, such as educational films, nutrition, health and wellness. A nutritious meal is served after each class. Admission is free and open to the public, and no dance experience is required. Donations are accepted. For more information, call (504) 569-9070, or just show up in comfortable clothing ready to move.
