A festival of short films by and about women
seen by over 20,000 men and women nationwide!


Saturday, April 14th at Tulane University
Independent films, African dance and local art!

LUNAFEST
films are taken from top festivals across the nation including Tribeca, the Los Angeles Short Film Festival, and London International Film Festival. The event raises money for the Breast Cancer Fund and local non-profits.

5:00 pm
The art sale/exhibition and the wine and cheese reception.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD GALLERY will display their traveling art exhibit.

7:00 pm
Performance by AUSETTUA AMOR AMENKUM from The KUMBUKA AFRICAN DANCE $ DRUM COMPANY.

TICKETS: $7 for Students, and $10 for the General Public
The show will take place in Tulane University's new Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life (University Center or UC) in the Kendall Cram Auditorium. The University Center is located near the corner of Freret Street and McAlister Drive.

All proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Fund and IN Exchange, a 501(c)3, non-profit retail store that will open in Tulane University's new Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life. IN Exchange will vend the fairly-traded art and crafts of marginalized artists and artisans from New Orleans and economically developing countries.
